Experience the Sacred Scent of Palo Santo in Every Burn.
Palo Santo is a form of wooden incense harvested from the South American holy tree Bursera Graveolens, which is native to the tropical dry forests of Ecuador and Peru. The wood is felled naturally and allowed to sit on the forest year for up to two years to gain the required density and resin content known to give the incense its sensual characteristics.
Palo Santo is well known for its natural cleansing and healing properties. It is said to help calm the nervous system and reduce stress, making it an essential addition to your daily spiritual practice.

How to use Palo Santo.
Palo Santo is a dense wood and as such normally requires being held under a flame for 1-2 minutes to ignite the wood enough to generate a cleansing smoke. Once lit, keep the flame burning for a little while before blowing it out. This way the smoke will be rich and plentiful, and perfect for your various spells, rituals and ceremonies. You many wish to use a bowl or shell to rest the wood upon whilst smudging, to avoid any falling embers, especially when using the incense indoors.
